What You’ll Learn:
Steam and mould a hat base using a hat block (choose from a variety of colours and shapes).
Attach crinoline or wire for shape support.
Sew a sweatband or petersham ribbon for a polished finish.
Secure the hat with elastic for a comfortable fit.
Trim and decorate your hat with techniques such as adding veiling, crafting felt bows or flowers, or creating a classic French-style stem.
