A Guide to Styling Statement Hats with Accessories and Outfits

Hats are not just practical accessories, they are also the perfect finishing touch to elevate your overall look. Whether you’re a fan of fedoras, berets, or wide-brimmed hats, pairing them with the right accessories and outfits can make a significant difference.

Style guide from my personal collection:

Tip #1 - Statement Earrings:

If your hat allows, showcase statement earrings to draw attention to your face. Pairing a wide-brimmed hat with bold earrings can create a stylish and impactful look. My Wolf and Moon earrings complement the hat's color palette flawlessly.

Tip #2 - Play with Patterns:

Mix and match patterns carefully. If your outfit has a bold pattern, opt for a solid-colored hat, or vice versa. Avoid overwhelming your look with too many competing patterns.

The Venice Gold hat features a striking chess pattern, which is a signature technique of our collection. That's why I opted to pair it with solid, print-free colors to elevate the hat's unique feature.

Tip #3 - Mix Textures:

Experiment with different textures to add depth to your outfit. For instance, try pairing a smooth gold hat with the textured beaded sleeves of a gold sequin jacket for a bold and contrasting look.

Tip #4 - Matching Colors:

Ensure that the color of your hat complements the rest of your outfit. It doesn't have to be an exact match, but a similar shade will do the trick - a hint of gold on the hat pairs perfectly with gold jacket sleeves and gold accents on the earrings. The purple hue of the hat looks fantastic when paired with a blue bag, orange jacket, and dark navy top and trousers.

Tip #5 - Accessories, Bags

Bags and clutches are versatile accessories that complement hats well.

Enhance your hat game with versatile bags and clutches. Opt for bags in similar color tones to highlight and elevate the hat's hue, creating a harmonious and stylish ensemble.

Tip #6 - Hairstyle Matters:

Hairstyle Matters:

Consider your hairstyle when choosing a hat. Styling your hair up not only highlights the elegant length of your neck,  but also draws more attention towards your hat. Alternatively, loose waves can effortlessly create a charming and relaxed style, offering a refreshing alternative to a formal look. Ultimately, the choice is yours, allowing you to embrace your personal preference and style with confidence.
